Indoor air quality guidelines from across the world: An appraisal considering energy saving, health, productivity, and comfort
Abstract
ISIAQ STC34 has an open database of IEQ guidelines. Thermal conditions (e.g., T and RH) and indoor pollutants (e.g., CO2, CH2O, PM, NO2, CO, and Rn) can be impacted by energy saving measures. Health based guidelines exist for CH2O, PM2.5, PM10, NO2, CO, and Rn. Guidelines can help in creating a balance between energy conservation, thermal comfort, and good IAQ.
