Primer análisis espectroscópico del sistema de cúmulos globulares de NGC 4546

Using spectroscopic data obtained by the GMOS instrument of the Gemini Observatory, we were able to analyze for the first time a group of globular clusters and a UCD associated with the isolated lenticular galaxy NGC 4546. In this work, the full spectral fitting technique was used to estimate the radial velocity of 14 objects, as well as their stellar population parameters (age, metallicity, α-element abundances), in order to inquire about the history of the host galaxy.
