Solar phenomena as seen by the Solar Observatory from Bucharest in 2022
Abstract
Solar cycle 25, which officially started in December 2019, is currently in the ascending slope of its evolution and the number of sunspots and, thus solar flares, is increasing. Therefore the interest of following daily solar activity is growing. In addition to the capabilities of the Solar Observatory from Bucharest - observations in white light and H-alpha, here we present, a series of solar phenomena captured during the observation campaign within it. Our work will include identifying the solar flares captured by us and comparing them with data obtained from other Solar Observatories.
