Climate and environmental impacts of automated minibuses in future public transportation
Abstract
First environmental life cycle assessment of electric automated minibuses. Automated components affect environmental performance, but are not the most important drivers. Total mileage, passenger occupancy, and electricity mix have significant impact on results. Considerable potential for future environmental performance improvements exist. Environmental benefits depend on the use cases of the minibuses and their integration into the public transport system.
