Risk-based flood adaptation assessment for large-scale buildings in coastal cities using cloud computing
Abstract
A risk-based flood adaptation model was developed and investigated in the cloud computing system Both global and local sensitivity analysis were conducted to show sensitivity of model parameters Adaptation scenarios were designed to incorporate life-cycle cost and benefits of adaptation, social vulnerability, and public adaptation policies Public adaptation with seawall and enforced building elevation policy within flood zones could substantially reduce building damages
