Generalized P T Symmetry in Non-Hermitian Wireless Power Transfer Systems
Abstract
We show that, by using a saturable gain gsat , generalized P T (G P T ) symmetry can be achieved in the intrinsically unbalanced (non-P T -symmetric) high-order wireless power transfer systems. A topology decomposition approach is implemented to analyze the parity of the high-order wireless power transfer systems. In the coupling parametric space, a global G P T -symmetric eigenstate is observed along with the spontaneous phase transition of the local G P T -symmetric eigenstates on the exceptional contour. G P T symmetry guarantees a highly efficient and stable power transfer across the distinct coupling regions, which introduces a new paradigm for a broad range of application scenarios involving asymmetric coupling.
