VizieR Online Data Catalog: FEDReD III: Unraveling the 3D structure of Vela (Hottier+, 2021)

We used the FEDReD algorithm to analyse photometry and parallax from 2MASS and Gaia DR2 of stars in the Vela complex direction. This provided us with the distribution of the extinction density in 3D.

We managed to spatially measure 14 dense extinction clouds (Table 1) and nine cavities (Table 2).
