A phylogenomic supermatrix of Galliformes (Landfowl) reveals biased branch lengths
Abstract
A supermatrix including next-generation sequences resulted in a taxon-rich phylogeny. Taxa with verylittle data typically had very longbranches. Re-estimating branch lengths using mitochondrial data reduced this problem. Re-estimating branches may improvedownstream comparative studies.
