Cotton/halophytes intercropping decreases salt accumulation and improves soil physicochemical properties and crop productivity in saline-alkali soils under mulched drip irrigation: A three-year field experiment
Abstract
The study proposed new CSSI and CAI cropping systems based on traditional MC system. The CSSI and CAI systems decreased salt accumulation in no mulch strips. The CSSI and CAI systems improved physicochemical properties of saline-alkali soil. The CSSI and CAI systems showed greater crop productivity than the MC system.
