MAXI/GSC detection of a new X-ray outburst from 4U 1705-32

The MAXI/GSC nova alert system triggered on faint X-ray enhancement at 14:29 on March 25, 2021. Assuming that the source flux was constant over 8 transits from 09:02 on March 24 to 00:32 on March 25, we obtain the source position at (R.A., Dec) = (257.241 deg, -32.495 deg) = (17 08 57, -32 29 41) (J2000) with a statistical 90% C.L. elliptical error region with long and short radii of 0.47 deg and 0.37 deg, respectively.
