In this work, an invisible cloak is designed based on the series of pi-shaped metamaterial with near-zero refractive index (NRZI). The pi-shaped metamaterial based cylindrical structure is designed and implemented for the electromagnetic cloak. This metal cylinder was hidden by applying the pi-shaped metamaterial, which shows NRZI property. Experimental results obtained at C-band are suitable for cloaking applications. The structure of the designed unit cell consists of two T-shaped slots in opposite directions and the resonance obtained at 6.8GHz frequency.
