Creating a multi-institution outreach network to improve climate literacy

The Climate Consensus is creating a more informed public on the topic of human-caused climate change by empowering current and upcoming scientists to engage in educational outreach. In 2021, this multi-institution network was formed by students, faculty, and staff representatives from nine universities and organizations. We now seek to expand our reach by extending an invitation to other students and faculty who might be interested in joining our network. By sharing resources and best practices, learning from each others successes and failures, providing technical and moral support, we have an immense opportunity to shape public opinion on this topic and to motivate action.
