Magnetized GRB Afterglows with Proper Deceleration Radius
Abstract
Most of previous studies of GRB afterglows ignored the effect of ejecta magnetization $\sigma$ upon the deceleration of the ejecta shell. With the consideration of the proper deceleration, we study the dynamics of the forward and reverse shocks with the use of both jump conditions and a generic model. We reproduce an estimate of the condition for existence of a reverse shock.
