Spectral and Luminescent Properties of Atropisomers of 5,10,15,20-Tetrakis(3-N-Methylpyridyl)Porphyrin in Aqueous Solutions
Abstract
Spectral and luminescent properties of aqueous solutions of 5,10,15,20-tetrakis(3-N-methylpyridyl)porphyrin are studied at 290 ± 2 K. Individual absorption and fluorescence spectra are identified for atropisomers resulting from different orientations of the methylated N atom of the Py substituents relative to the mean plane of the tetrapyrrole macrocycle.
