Deceleration-acceleration transition redshift of a class of modified Chaplygin gas from recent binned Hubble data
Abstract
A class of modified Chaplygin gas (MCG) has been chosen here as constituent of the universe. In the class of MCG, there are total five types that are considered, namely MCG (B ≠0.0 ), GCG (B =0.0 ), general EU (B ≠0.0 ), EU (B =0 ), Λ CDM. The cosmological acceleration-deceleration redshift ztrc (i.e., «ztr» the expected values of redshift in terms of EoS parameters) are determined with error bars. The best-fitted acceleration-deceleration redshift ztr are also determined in the class of models from binned Hubble data. Best-fit values of the equation of state parameters (ie,EoS) are obtained in this analysis. Plot of deceleration parameter (q) and EoS parameter (ω ) in this class of MCG model clearly shows acceleration-deceleration phase change in recent past.
