L'algoritmo di correzione per l'estinzione atmosfera a occhio nudo e studio su foto da webcam e da SOHO
Abstract
The perceived luminosity of a star changes with the star's altitude above the horizon. We adopt a plane-parallel atmosphere down to 15 degrees above the horizon and a linear exctinction from 3 to 5 airmasses between 0 and 15 degrees of altitude. The extincion in Rome is 0.236 magnitudes per airmass. The observation of Betelgeuse of 29 January 2019 in Rome, has been exemplified. Data on Nova Cen 2013 (Perth All sky camera), Eta Carinae (visual), Antares, Delta Sco with SOHO coronograph are also discussed.
