GRB 201222A: Fermi GBM Final Real-time Localization
Abstract
At 00:12:18 UT on 22 Dec 2020, the Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM) triggered and located GRB 201222A (trigger 630288743.68768 / 201222009). The on-ground calculated location, using the Fermi GBM trigger data, is RA = 215.7, Dec = 13.5 (J2000 degrees, equivalent to J2000 14h 22m, 13d 30'), with a statistical uncertainty of 8.1 degrees. The angle from the Fermi LAT boresight is 6.0 degrees. The skymap can be found here: https://heasarc.gsfc.nasa.gov/FTP/fermi/data/gbm/triggers/2020/bn201222009/quicklook/glg_skymap_all_bn201222009.png The HEALPix FITS file, including the estimated localization systematic, can be found here: https://heasarc.gsfc.nasa.gov/FTP/fermi/data/gbm/triggers/2020/bn201222009/quicklook/glg_healpix_all_bn201222009.fit The GBM light curve can be found here: https://heasarc.gsfc.nasa.gov/FTP/fermi/data/gbm/triggers/2020/bn201222009/quicklook/glg_lc_medres34_bn201222009.gif
