Research of the perforation parameters effect on the acoustic efficiency of a group of various forms Helmholtz resonators
Abstract
In the framework of the work, physical and mathematical models were formulated for predicting the effective acoustic properties of various shapes SAS cells (Helmholtz resonators) during their joint operation. Numerical experiments were conducted to simulate an acoustic wave in a model channel with various shapes resonators (prismatic and conical) and various perforation parameters. Acoustically effective combinations of resonators shapes and geometric parameters were revealed, at which minimal mutual influence is observed.
