Lightkurve is a community-developed, open-source Python package which offers a user-friendly way to analyze data from NASA's TESS and Kepler missions. The package is supported by a rich syllabus of tutorials which aim to lower the barrier for students, astronomers, and citizen scientists alike to analyze data from NASA's exoplanet space telescopes. In this contribution, I will demonstrate the use of Lightkurve for TESS data analysis, discuss the future of the package, and present evidence to show that making the community's expertise available in a high-quality, open source package makes our field more accessible.
