The status of GECAM mission
Abstract
The GECAM (Gravitational Wave Electromagnetic Counterpart All-sky Monitor) mission is the planned Chinese space telescope to monitor the Gamma-Ray Bursts (GRBs) coincident with gravitational wave events, which will launch in late 2020. It consists of two micro-satellites in low earth orbit with the advantages of instantaneous full-sky coverage. Here we report the scientific goals, the payload, the data processing and the status of the mission.
