Evolution of spectral line parameters database VALD

We describe present state of Vienna Atomic Line Database (VALD), which was created by the mutual efforts of the astronomers from Austria, Russia and Sweden. The continuing cooperation, mainly by the scientists from Russia and Sweden resulted in the significant evolution of VALD both quantitatively and qualitatively. The statistics of VALD use in different astronomical applications is given.
