Study of the charge symmetry-breaking effect in hypernuclei using a nuclear emulsion
Abstract
Charge symmetry-breaking is an important issue in hypernuclear physics, and a precise measurement of the binding energy of single hypernuclei is highly desirable. We investigated the nuclear emulsion sheet for the E07 experiment to identify single hypernuclei using an overall scanning method. By analyzing 0.05% of the entire sheet area for E07, we found that 106 single hypernucleus events can be detected in the E07 experiment.
