The clinical efficacy of surgical treatment of cerebral contusion and laceration was compared with that of conservative treatment
Abstract
Objective To explore and compare the clinical efficacy of surgical treatment of cerebral contusion and laceration and conservative treatment. Methods 164 patients diagnosed as cerebral contusion and laceration by CT examination admitted to our hospital from October 2014 to September 2016 were selected as the research objects. The patients in this group were divided into 74 patients in the operation group and 90 patients in the conservative treatment group according to the different treatment methods, and the clinical efficacy of the two groups was compared. Results The GCS score of the operation group was higher than that of the conservative treatment group, and the hospitalization time was shorter than that of the conservative treatment group, which has statistically significant difference (P < 0.05). Patients in the two groups were followed up for 3-6 months after treatment, and the total effective rate in the operation group was higher than that in the conservative treatment group, and it has statistically significant difference (P < 0.05). Conclusion Surgical therapy is more effective than conservative therapy in the treatment of cerebral contusion and laceration.
