Automated Analysis of Transition Region Plasma Characteristics Under Hot Coronal Footpoints
Abstract
In previous work, we examined Si IV 1393.78 Angstrom line profiles from the IRIS satellite mission under hot loop footpoints. We expand our analysis using composite SDO images, which are co-spatial and co-temporal with many-step IRIS raster scans, to quantify varying plasma characteristics under footpoints and the rest of active region at large.
