Gradient Percolation and Growth of Networked Cities.
Abstract
Following a previous work where we have developped a model of city growth based on gradient percolation that happened to successfully fit to the case of the city of Montargis , we have continued in the same vein the study of city growth in presence of competition between the networked cities of the whole province (Région Centre Val de Loire). This work has been partially sponsored by the Région Centre-Val-de-Loire who has provided us with the real data.
