Discrete Hankel transform method for mixed boundary conditions problems
Abstract
A simple and effective method for solving magnetostatic problems with mixed boundary conditions is proposed. Such problems arise, for example, in astrophysics when calculating the structure of the magnetic field of a star in the presence of a diamagnetic accretion disk. This approach is based on the approximate solution of coupled integral equations by the discrete Hankel transform method. The results of test calculation of the structure of the magnetic field of a star with an infinitely thin diamagnetic disk is presented.
