Relationship Between the Changes in Time of Concentration of Geochemical Components of Mineral Waters and Geodynamic Processes of Earth Crust of Central Armenia
Abstract
As is known, the development of geotectonic processes of earth crust influences the dynamics and geochemistry of underground and in particular mineral water. In the current article, the geodynamic monitoring is applied to reveal the dynamics of chemical components of waters in time. The processing of long time series of hydro geochemical components is carried out using statistically possible method to define the effects relating to the geodynamic processes of earth crust of Central Armenia. The changing of stress-strain state of earth crust in time was calculated to analyze the geochemical effects and to track the dynamic processes of earth crust. The comparison of hydro geochemical data with seismicity has shown the correlation between the components of waters and the number of the occurred earthquakes. The research was carried out through time series of dynamics of concentration of macro component and gas composition of mineral water: Surenavan, Vedi, Arzni and Bjni. Hydrogeochemcial observation stations located in the Central Part of Armenia where there are regional tectonic disturbances are presented by Garni and Yerevan faults . Mostly, mineral waters coincide with deep tectonic faults which allow observing the tectonic stresses which result in local and remote earthquakes. Mechanism of formation of hydrogeochemical effects taking into account the analysis of the received results is explained by changes of stress-strain state of environment before the development earthquakes and other hydrodynamic processes occurring in the earth crust. During the formation of mechanism of short-term hydrogeochemical effects it is supposed that in case of the increase of strain the substance of separate components of water grow in massif through inflow of more concentrated waters from weakly porous areas of massif.
