Instant GPS analysis platform established for GPS data processing and observation results sharing
Abstract
We established a research platform to offer a fast service for earth sciences research (GPSLAB, https://gps.earth.sinica.edu.tw). By setting up this automatic GPS processing system, the correct coordinates of more than 450 continuous GPS stations in whole Taiwan could be produced automatically with an optimal strategy daily. After removing outliers in GPS results, the statistics analysis and time series of all stations will be released. For crustal deformation analysis, the accumulated 3D velocity field and overall strain in Taiwan are also available every month. After inspecting in detail, the yearly and seasonal velocity field will be published online routinely. Moreover, users can set the specific time periods for time series plots and velocity calculations. Inspecting relative velocity field and relative time series are also available by appointing any reference GPS station. Furthermore, in the latest version of GPSLAB, the observations of coseismic displacements from GPS stations and SAR images will be published online immediately once the earthquake occurred.
