Accessing safe drinking water in sub-Saharan Africa: Issues and challenges in South–West Nigeria
Abstract
Quality and access are factors that encourages the use of private water sources. Long hauls have hindered the access to the available government owned water sources. Cost of water is expensive owing to the unavailability of government water sources. The region can be regarded as a "Water Stressed" zone.
