Dual robotic arm "production line" mass spectrometry assay guided by multiple Arduino-type microcontrollers
Abstract
Sample handling prior to mass spectrometry requires various mechanical operations. The proposed robotic system eliminates manual sample handling. The system is based on several inexpensive open-source electronic modules. It performs multiple operations on the samples ‑ e.g. pipetting and incubation. Two robotic arms synchronously process multiple samples.
