Influence of gas pressure on the effective thermal conductivity of ceramic breeder pebble beds
Abstract
This study explicitly demonstrates the influence of the gas pressure on the effective thermal conductivity of pebble beds. The gas pressure influence is shown to correlated to the pebble size. The effective thermal conductivity is linked to thermal-mechanical properties of pebbles and packing structure.
