Abstract
Sea fog has always occurred in the winter time along the Southern China coast. It has occurred in 2012 winter CAS Cruise. There are two high pressure influence this area. The sea fog occurred in the absence of high pressure. First high pressure was less strong and it brought cold air to the coastal area. While this high pressure was descent, wind direction changed to the southeast and the wind brought warmer and wetter air from the southeast marine. During sea fog occurred, vertical advection was not so active as the high pressure condition, and the air temperature is near the dew point temperature. Their deviation was less than 1 degree centigrade that was the same record both of the AWS on board and the AWS on the coastal station.
