Ground base search of small transiting planets on bright stars. The arrival of new generation of facilities: NGTS and SPECULOOS
Abstract
NGTS and SPECULOOS are built to detect transiting planets smaller than Saturn on stars brighter than the core Kepler sample. The design of these two experiments has been optimized to allow the detection of target for which planetary mass and atmosphere informations may be retreived. A short description of these two facilities will be presented as well as early results from NGTS commissioning.
