Dynamic Observing in the VGOS Era

What will VLBI observations be like in the VGOS Era? VGOS aims for continuous operations which will require a high level of automation and good connections between telescopes, correlators, schedulers, and operation centers. Here we describe a possible VGOS observing scenario, show some initial results from simulations, discuss some of the technology and software developments that are still required, and present some suggestions on how a fully dynamic observing system might be developed over the next few years as we transition from legacy systems to VGOS and from low to high network bandwidths.
