An identification of eROSITA sources at extragalactic sky
Abstract
We use the Chandra X-ray source catalog of Bootes field (XBootes) and the AGES spectroscopic survey to estimate a usability of WISE and SDSS photometry for eROSITA sources. The Spectrum-Roentgen-Gamma mission will be launched into a L2 orbit at the end of 2015. The mission will conduct all-sky survey with X-ray mirror telescopes eROSITA (0.3-10 keV) and ART-XC (6-30 keV). eROSITA is scheduled to detect 3 million of AGN at all sky. The sensitivity 0.5-2 keV X-ray flux of 4-year survey is expected from 1.1x10(-14) erg/s/cm(2) at ecliptic equator to 2x10(-15) erg/s/cm^{2} at ecliptic poles. Over 50% of eROSITA X-ray sources in 4-year catalog will have infrared counterpart in WISE with visible magnitude in W1<16.5 and W2<$15.5. Over 80% X-ray sources will have counterpart in r-band SDSS with visible magnitude less than 22.2. We have regarded various selection criteria for stars, nearby galaxies, AGN being based on photometry of WISE and SDSS photometry.
