Expanded Craters in Arcadia Planitia: Evidence for >20 Myr Old Subsurface Ice
Abstract
The formation and preservation of thermokarstically-expanded secondary craters suggests the existence and persistence of long-lived (tens of millions of years old) excess water ice in Arcadia Planitia, Mars.
