The perovskite Ca0.1Ba0.9Zr0.1Ti0.9O3 (abbreviated as CBZT) material was synthesized by solid state reaction. The ceramic powder of CBZT sample was milled in a planetary ball mill for different hours (12 hrs, 18 hrs and 30 hrs). The powder X-ray Diffractograms of all the CBZT samples show single phase tetragonal (P4mm) perovskite structure at room temperature. The samples have been characterized by Scanning Electron microscopy (SEM) to examine micro-structural changes in post-milled specimens. The FTIR and Raman spectra are indicative of stabilized tetragonal phase.
