We propose a novel triple core photonic crystal fiber (TPCF) design for construction of the all optical AND and NAND logic gates. By employing the finite element method (FEM), the optical parameters of the proposed symmetrical planar TPCF are calculated. From the governing coupled nonlinear Schrödinger equations (CNLSE), the transmission characteristics of an optical pulse through TPCF is studied using split step Fourier numerical method (SSFM) and the critical peak power required to control the optical logic operations are determined. Using the critical peak power as a control signal with suitable phase through corel, the extinction ratios (XRs) for the other cores are calculated. We have demonstrated the NAND and AND logic gates through the proposed TPCF.
