Structural and optical properties of CdS thin films prepared by chemical bath deposition
Abstract
Nanocrystalline CdS films were prepared by chemical bath deposition at 65°C with stirring at 350 rpm. for different deposition times. The films were annealed at 350°C for 2 hours. The structural and optical parameters properties of the films were studied. The thickness of the films was found to increase as the deposition time increases. The band gap (Eg) of the film was found to decrease from 2.43ev to 2.32ev with increase in deposition time.
