Controlled growth of vertically oriented molybdenum oxide nanoplates
Abstract
Highly oriented and uniformly distributed molybdenum oxide nanoplates have been deposited on to Cobalt coated glass substrate by sublimation route in presence of reactive oxygen plasma. During entire experiments molybdenum strip is taking as a sublimation source. The possible growth process for the formation of MoO3 nanoplates has been modeled by the three step process. The morphological, structural, optical properties of nanoplates have been investigated systematically using scanning electron microscopy, x-ray diffraction, IR spectroscopy.
