Specific features of the polarization in the PbFe1/2Nb1/2O3 ferroelectric
Abstract
The temperature dependences of the complex permittivity of ferroelectric PbFe1/2Nb1/2O3 have been studied at frequencies of 25, 500, and 104 Hz. It has been found that the phase transition is smeared in the temperature range ∼90 K. In the smearing region, there is a deviation from the Curie-Weiss law, which begins to be obeyed only above the Burns temperature. The temperature dependence of the local order parameter has been constructed, which indicates that the polarization in PbFe1/2Nb1/2O3 occurs at the Burns temperature.
