Variability of the Lines Porfiles on the Spectrum of the 55 Cyg for the Period 1999-2000.
Abstract
We use CCD spectra obtained in 1999-2000 with the coude-echelle-spectrograph of the 2m telescope of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan to study temporal lines profiles variations in the spectrum of the hot supergiant 55Cyg. The variability of the radial velocity and lines profiles of the heavy elements are caused by pulsation-type motions. Such variability for HeI lines are caused by nonradial pulsations. In cases of the Hβ and Hα lines the patterns and character of the variability differ for the different periods of observations. Generally the variability of these lines is caused by photometric and positional variation of their absorption and emission components. Additional emission components are observed on profiles of these lines which move across the profiles from the blue to the red wing, that testifies to clumpy structure of the stellar envelope.
