Partial quasimetric completeness and Caristi's type mappings
Abstract
Kirk proved in [3] that a metric space (X,d) is complete if, and only if, every Caristi selfmapping on X has a fixed point. Here, we discuss the extension of Kirk's theorem to partial quasimetric spaces.
