Effect of Ni2+ ion on the structural, magnetic and electrical properties of cobalt ferrites
Abstract
The NixCo1-xFe2O4 system with 0.0 < x <1.0 insteps of x = 0.2 were prepared by PVA sol gel method. The prepared samples were sintered and characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD) for structural identification. The crystalline natures of the samples were confirmed by X-ray diffraction pattern at room temperature. The saturation magnetization and coercivity were analysed for the NixCo1-xFe2O4 system using vibrating sample magnetometer. The room temperature dc conductivity of the NixCo1-x Fe2O4 system was obtained from the measured impedance value using LCZ Meter. The results are analysed and reported.
