Multifractal transport in the standard map
Abstract
The transport in the standard map is studied numerically. The stochasticity parameter k is chosen so that the space phase is mixed. Anomalous diffusion was distinguished by the behavior of the moment that can be described by an exponent β(q). The existence of a characteristic exponent β(2) > 1 implies a super diffusive transport and when β(q) is nonlinear the transport is multifractal.
