For a university-based science laboratory with limited resources to commit to social media, what is the right suite of social media efforts to employ? In this presentation, you will learn about the strategies that have worked for us at the Laboratory for Atmospheric and Space Physics Office of Communications & Outreach : - Rely on grant-funded programs to provide the means and momentum to expand into new terrain, explore new channels, and undertake thorough evaluation of our efforts - Leverage our dissemination efforts by providing cutting-edge educational experiences for New Media communicators--creating relationships and name recognition that help us "go viral" - Fold newly gained expertise back into resource-limited institutional efforts Connect with us at http://lasp.colorado.edu!
