Fractal analysis of intraplates seismicity in the central zone of Chile

A fractal and multifractal study in a sample of superfitial interplate and intraplate earthquakes in central zone of Chile is made. The change in the value of the capacity dimension in a modified sample of superficial earthquakes is computed. This analysis is made in two and three dimensions. Conclude that the intraplates earthquakes present a fractal behaviour, just like the complete data set.
