Study the Effect of Immersion in Boiled Water on some Mechanical and Thermal Properties of Novolac Composites
Abstract
Compression strength, hardness(shore -D-) and thermal conductivity (k) were studied for Novolac resin reinforced with kucharat; water absorption was studied also in boiled water; we concluded that mechanical properties was decreased after immersion in water for 10 days, but (k) and (d) diffusion coefficient increased.
