Quark-hadron duality in proton and neutron F2 structure functions
Abstract
I present a summary of recent studies of quark-hadron duality in the proton and neutron F2 structure functions which highlight the possibility of using averaged resonance region data to constrain parton distribution functions in the kinematic region of high Bjorken x where, presently, few experimental constraints exist. A recent extraction of the neutron F2n structure function from proton and deuterium data in the resonance region is also discussed.
