Report on the ESO Workshop ''Central Massive Objects: The Stellar Nuclei - Black Hole Connection''

An overview of the ESO workshop on black holes and nuclear star clusters is presented. The meeting reviewed the status of our observational and theoretical understanding of central massive objects, as well as the search for intermediate mass black holes in globular clusters.
